BIOCONSTRUCTION

Bioconstruction, a key part of Batsú’s philosophy, is defined as a design and construction methodology that originates from Permaculture. This discipline, developed in the 1970s by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren, suggests that we should observe and learn from nature to shape our activities towards a sustainable life. Originally created for agriculture, Permaculture quickly inspired other disciplines such as architecture. Basic principles of bioconstruction include:
